ABOUT BHUTAN

Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.

DAY 01: DHAKA TO PARO

Tourists will be received at Paro Airport at 10.50 a.m. & drive to Thimphu Hotel. It’s 1 hour scenic drive. On the way visit River side Temple/Iron Bridge & Tamchong Lakhang, Check in the hotel. After lunch visit Changankha Lakhang, Takin Zoo, Sangay View Point/ BBS Tower & In the evening free for Shopping/Shoppers World Area. Dinner & night halt at Thimphu.

DAY 02: THIMPHU CITY TOUR

After having breakfast visit SAARC Building, Cherry Monastery (Wooden Bridge Area), & Tashicho Dzong Park. After Lunch visit Budda Point & Memorial Chorten. In the evening 1 hr free at Clock Tower Area for Shopping/Strolling.  Night halt at Thimphu.

DAY 03: THIMPHU TO PARO

After having early breakfast drive to Paro. On the way visit airport view point. After lunch visit Taksang monastery (Tiger Nest) from Parking side – Hike to first station or cafeteria – about 2 hours. Hike to second station – about 1 hour. 350 steps to Tiger Nest – about 1 hour. Hike down to the base – about 1.5 hours & Drukyal Dzong. In the evening enjoy Shopping at Paro Town. Dinner & night halt at Paro.

 DAY 04: PARO DEPARTURE

Serving packed BF & Tourists will be dropped at Airport by 6am.
