ABOUT BHUTAN

Bhutan, a Buddhist kingdom on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its monasteries, fortresses (or dzongs) and dramatic landscapes that range from subtropical plains to steep mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, peaks such as 7,326m Jomolhari are popular trekking destinations. Paro Taktsang monastery (also known as Tiger’s Nest) clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley.

DAY 01: DHAKA TO BURIMARI BORDER

Journey will be started from Dhaka at 8:00p.m. Transfer to Burimari border. On the way dinner at Highway Restaurant & Overnight journey by AC Bus.

DAY 02: ARRIVED PHUENTSHOLLING

After having Breakfast, completing the border formalities & drive to drive to Jaigaon/Phuentsholling (Bhutan) by 2 hr. drive. After Hotel Check in & Lunch both country Immigration formalities & in the afternoon visit Phuentsholling city (Zangtopeli Gompha & Monastery). Dinner & Night halt at Hotel at Jaigaon.

DAY 03: PHUENTSHOLLING TO THIMPU

After Breakfast start drive for Thimphu. Its 5hr scenic mountain drive. Check in at Thimphu Hotel. After Lunch visit Buddah Point & Tashico Dzong. In the evening visit Clock tower area for Shopping. Dinner & Night halt at Hotel Thimphu.

 DAY 04:FULL DAY IN THIMPU

After having breakfast visit Zigmey Doorje National Park/ Cherry Monastery (Wooden Bridge Area) & Tashicho Dzong Park.  After lunch visit Dochala Pass & enjoy the Himalayan view & in the evening free time at town to enjoy Thimphu Shopping/nightlife. Dinner & night halt at Thimphu.

DAY 05:THIMPU TO PARO

After Breakfast transfer to Paro. Visit Iron Bridge (Tamsung Lakhang) & Airport View Point. After lunch visit Taksang Monastery from View Point & Drukyal Dzong. Overnight stay in hotel at Paro.

DAY 06: FULL DAY IN PARO

After having breakfast visit Chelela Pass & enjoy the Himalaya After lunch Taksang monastery from Parking side & Drukyal Dzong & Back to Hotel. In the evening enjoy Shopping at Paro Town. Dinner & night halt at Paro.

DAY 07: PARO TO BURIMARI BORDER

After Breakfast, starts for Burimari (BD Border) via Phuentsholling. After lunch start drive for Bangladesh Boarder. After crossing border, start for Dhaka with Dinner at Highway restaurant. Reach Dhaka next morning.
