Dhaka – Khagrachari – Sajek – Khagrachari – Dhaka

1st Night: Travel from Dhaka to Khagrachari

Depart for Khagrachari from Dhaka (Kalabagan/Arambagh) bus counter by 9pm bus with requisite Talpitalpa (travel friendly). A 20-minute intermission is scheduled at Comilla Highway.

Food: At own expense

 

Day 1: Khagrachari-Sajek Valley

Remain in Khagrachari till about 6:00 a.m. A one-hour break for breakfast and freshening up is taken at a nearby motel. Take the reserve car to Sajek. Arrive at Sajek Valley by midday. We're going to explore the Ruilui area and Kanglak Hill in the afternoon after lunch, then We'll come back to the hotel to see the sunset. After dark, We'll head back to the Ruilui neighborhood. Spend the night at the Sajek Valley. We're having bamboo chicken for dinner.

 

Day 2: Dhaka - Khagrachhari - Sajek Valley

At the helipad, we shall witness the sunrise at 05:30 in the morning. We'll be heading to the Rock Garden to witness the sunrise. We shall travel for Khagrachari after breakfast, leaving from Rock Garden. We are going to the Horticultural Park, Richong Waterfall, and Alutila Caves after lunch. After eating and spending the entire day in Khagrachhari, We will depart for Dhaka at approximately 9:00 p.m. We're going to arrive in Dhaka at five in the morning.

>> Child Policy:

* 0-2 years: No cost (will stay with parents, will sit with parents in the bus, will not get separate meals)

* 3-10 years: Tk 5,000 per person (separate seat in bus, parents will share seat in hotel, get separate food)

 

>> Couple Policy:

* For couples, if possible, separate rooms will be provided, in which case additional Tk 1,500 will be added per person.

 

>> Food menu:

* Breakfast-Egg Omelette+Mixed Vegetables+Parata+Tea or Khichuri+Fried Egg/Omelet

* Lunch - Chicken / Fish + Vegetables + Dal + White Rice + Water

>> Things you should keep with you

* Carry 3 days’ worth of travel clothes in a light backpack as possible.

* Carry lungi, towel, sunglasses, cap and umbrella (polythene to protect mobile, camera from rain) as precaution against rain.

* Take toothpaste (toothpaste and toothbrush) with you.

 

>> Booking Policy:

* You can book in 3 ways: bank transfer, cash payment or BKash.

* Minimum 50% deposit per person to confirm booking

 

>> Travel advice and precautions:

* Book accommodation before traveling (holidays are crowded).

* Hilly remote area so keep necessary things with you.

* There is no electricity in Sajek, although many cottages have solar systems, charging takes a long time and is not readily available. So you can keep a power bank/backup battery.

* Only Robi and Teletalk networks are available on Saje. So keep any sim of these two together.

* The road to Sajek is very curvy and steep and dangerous so be careful while traveling.

* Get permission from locals when photographing them. Do not take pictures without permission.

* There are security forces camps at several places on the way. Members traveling there are required to submit certain information for security purposes. Carry copy of National Identity Card.

* Fares may be lower or higher during Eid or various auctions.

* Since Sajek is a hilly area it can be a bit difficult, everything may not be as you think. So it is very important to have an accepting mindset and talk to the team leader about any need or difficulty. Treat travel companions as well as possible, preferably if you can make friends. It will make your journey enjoyable.

* Do not involve yourself in any kind of trouble with the natives (tribals).

*Due to scarcity of water in Sajek, drinking water is not provided in hotel rooms.

 

>> Trip Cancellation Policy:

* No refund will be given if the package is canceled 0-3 days prior to the start of the tour.

* After confirming the package for any reason, cancellation before 03 days of travel will be deducted Tk 2000 per person.
