DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN HANOI

Our driver will greet you at the airport and take you to the hotel so you can check in. You have the rest of the day for yourself. Spend the night in Hanoi.

Day 2: ENTIRE DAY TOUR OF HANOI CITY (SIC)

After breakfast, take a full-day tour of Hanoi. AM: 8:00–08:30 You will be picked up at your accommodation in the Old Quarter of Hanoi by our driver and guide. Next, go to the Museum and Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh. Savor the historical and architectural features of Uncle Ho's last resting place. The stilt-built home of Ho Chi Minh is right next door. King Ly Thai built the One Pillar Pagoda, which is situated to one side of the mausoleum. The building has grown to be a significant icon for the Hanoian people since 1049.

 

Proceed to explore the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake (one of the oldest in Vietnam) and the Taoist Quan Thanh Temple, which dates back to the Ly Dynasty. Visit the Ethnology Museum after lunch, then go on to Quoc Tu Giam and the Literature Temple built as Vietnam's first university in 1070, its gardens and well preserved buildings provide a calming window into the country's past. We will take you to the Ngoc Son temple via Hoan Kiem Lake, where you may enjoy the serene waters. The excursion concludes with a coach ride through Hanoi's Old Quarter. It's free time to shop.

DAY 3: HANOI-HALONG-HANOI (SIC)

Depart for Halong Bay at 8:00 a.m. Savor the 3.5-hour journey to Halong City. Reach Halong City. After lunch, then go on a four-hour boat ride. See Thien Cung Cave or Sungsot Cave as you meanders through the emerald waters that nestle between the limestone outcrops and lengthy passageways. Return to Halong City, where your Hanoi minibus will be waiting for you. Reach Hanoi by 7:30 p.m.

DAY 4: HANOI-TAMCOC-HANOI (SIC)

At 800 a.m. travel time to Hoa Lu is 2.5 hours. See the renowned historic temples of the Le and Dinh Dynasties, as well as Vietnam's historic capital. To go to Tam Coc (12KM) for lunch, take a bus transfer or ride a bicycle for an hour along scenic, calm roads that pass through villages, rice fields, rivers, and rocky outcrops. Take a boat journey to Tam Coc to explore one of the several caverns carved out of the limestone and take in the breathtaking karst formations as you cruise along their base. Return to Hanoi via car. The tour ends at approximately six o'clock.

Day 5: Departure from Hanoi.

Enjoy your free time till our driver takes you to the airport to board your trip.
